Manager, Digital Marketing Channels



Job Purpose

Responsible for all SEG customer-facing email communications. This role will focus on migrating SEG’s email program towards a more personalized communication experience. This role will develop a roadmap to improve the performance of SEG emails through: automation; personalization; dynamic creative and other best in class email processes.  This role will work with the insights team to ensure the deployment of SEG’s new CRM tool is implemented in a way that enhances SEG’s email capabilities.  The role will also be responsible for coordinating email campaigns with other digital communication channels such as: web, social, app, loyalty offers.  It will also work with the SEG brand marketing and creative studio teams on the process to develop creative assets for all SEG email campaigns. Also, this role will work with analysts to ensure all email campaigns are tracked and measured for performance.  Manages the day-to-day relationship with SEG’s email service provider.



1. Day-to-day channel management

Ensure accuracy and on time delivery of SEG email campaigns.  Define processes and workflows for email campaign management, content authoring, publishing, localization, QA, user training etc.  Oversee SEG’s content strategy ensuring it is aligned to overall business goals.  Ensure adherence to all branding, style and other standards or best practices. Day to day campaign performance tracking and improvements.  Manage personalized emails sent by 3rdparty providers.



2. Develop and implement email personalization and automation roadmap

Develop improvement roadmap. Coordinate roadmap with CRM implementation team and 3rdparty providers.  Systematic implementation of channel enhancements



3. Email database management

Work with large sets of data to deliver personalization and dynamic content

Ensure compliance with privacy policy.  Leverage analytics, customer feedback and other sources of insights to drive a program of continuous improvement for web/email.



4. Industry and competitors for activity and best practices.



5. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

ESP, HTML, reporting, strong leadership abilities, attention to detail,

performance trend analysis, Microsoft Office

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Preferred:


CRM experience, automated and trigger emails, CSS, Experience with SilverPop/IBM Marketing Cloud or ExactTarget
